RE Ambassadors
Our RE Ambassadors are at the forefront of our school community, actively promoting Catholic life and Gospel values in all that they do. They play a vital role in shaping and enriching Religious Education across our school by supporting and modelling our core values. They help lead discussions in RE lessons and encourage respectful dialogue about different beliefs and cultures. Meeting weekly, our ambassadors plan whole-school activities linked to festivals and themed days, organise fundraising projects, and open up meaningful opportunities for our wider school community.
This year, they have taken on many important projects, including fundraising initiatives, ensuring class resources are up to date, and working alongside Father David as well as collaborating with ambassadors from other schools. One of their most significant achievements has been setting up the St Austin’s prayer garden. This special space not only promotes our school’s Gospel values but also creates a strong sense of community through prayer, reflection and shared spiritual experiences. Through all of their work, our RE Ambassadors continue to lead by example, helping to embed Catholic life and values at the heart of our school.
Some of the projects and initiatives we have planned and taken part in include:
Big Lent walk
Mr Motivator’s Bed Bank charity event
Our new prayer garden
Meeting Carleton House RE ambassadors
Cathedral visits
Stay and pray events
Remembrance Day service
Poppy appeal
Marie Curie Daffodil appeal
