Seville visit - Day 2 Thursday 19th June

Day 2 - Thursday 19th June

Buenos Dias!  Everyone has had a good night's sleep last night, and all up nice and early, ready to enjoy day 2!

The day has started with toast and juice outside a cafe on a beautiful street in 'Triana.'  Following their outdoor breakfast, they are watching the 'Corpus Christie' procession through the streets of Old Seville in the glorious sunshine, where all the roads are covered in Rosemary, creating a very delicious smell in the area!

A guided tour of the Palace and Giraldato follow!  A glorious day in the sunshine and plenty of delicious Spanish lunch for all made by the host families back at the school! All the boys took part in a game of football in the school courtyard while the girls did folk/flamenco dancing!

During the afternoon a journey to the Arts and Folks museums and a walk around the Plaza de Espana and Ma Luisa Gardens, followed by a bike ride / boat ride!  Our Spanish friends were tour guides to our children at the museums, which was great language building for all.  Various parks in the sunshine....a wonderful day had by all in Seville!

Back at the apartments and writing up their diaries before they all retire after another fun packed day!  Lots to look forward to tomorrow....
