On Thursday, Tony and Rhia came to school to take a special assembly because it was World Mental Health Day. They talked to us about what mental health is and also told us ways in which we can keep our minds healthy. Tony and Rhia introduced us to the ROAR response to mental health and to the character, Resilient Ralph. Then we went back to class and completed activities designed to build awareness around mental health and resilience.
Please see the ROAR response below as well as photographs of the assembly and our activities in class.
The ROAR response to mental health in primary schools is Liverpool’s initiative to support children’s mental health.
