World Museum and Walker Art Gallery Trip

On Wednesday 23rd January, Year 3 went to the World Museum and the Walker Art Gallery on a school trip to support their learning about the Ancient Greeks. The children had two sessions, one in the Walker Art Gallery looking at and discussing the myth of Atalanta and Meleager and the other session was in the World Museum, where pupils had the chance to dress up as an Ancient Greek God or Godess and learn the myth behind each God.

Pupils were also fortunate enough to have some time in their groups to explore both the Art Gallery and the other exhibitions in the Museum. The bug house and the Ancient Egyptian Mummies were a firm favourite!

Thank you to our parent helpers for their help and support during a wonderful, action-packed day.
