Week Beg 28th September 2015

This week has been a quieter week here in Year 3. We have concentrated on mental maths skills of adding two digit numbers, using blank number lines to help us jot our thoughts down. In English we put all our learning about 'Stories with Familiar Settings' together and wrote our own stories. Some of us tried to use speech marks too which has really pleased Mrs Joynson, Mrs Daniels and Mrs Barton. In our RE work we have continued to think about what is important in family life to make a good home. We have looked to the Holy Family as an example for us to follow and have listened to advice from St Paul's letters in scripture.

We are all very excited (and some of us a little nervous), about going swimming next week. Remember to bring the correct kit including a cap, towel, swimming trunks or costume and goggles if you need them.
