Internet Safety Day
This year, our theme was based around how we can make the internet a safe and friendlier place to be on. We talked about all the fantastic benefits using the internet brings , such as being able to keep in touch with family and friends more easily, research topics, play games, listen to music...We discussed how it can also be a place we have to take extra care
to be responsible, communicate sensibly, kindly and follow SMART rules.
Following our learning, here is some advice from Year 4 pupils...
'Always make sure you have permission before you go on the internet.'
'If a pop u appears, x off it and tell your parents.'
'Only use websites you trust and have permission to use'.
'If you feel you are being cyber bullied, it is really important that you tell someone'.
'Never give personal information to anyone on the internet.'
'If you see or read anything that makes you feel uncomfortable, tell an adult'.
