Health and movement

Our current science topic is Health and Movement. Year 3 have learnt about the bones in the human body in comparison to animal skeletons and why it is important to stay healthy. Today, we learnt about the muscles in the human body and had some activities to help us learn more about how our muscles work.

Fun facts:

Did you know that there are over 600 muscles in the human body?

The smallest muscle in the body is in our ear!

There are 8 different muscles in our tongues!
