Art - The Rainbow Fish

This week, we have been learning about colour mixing.  Miss Barrett began our lesson by reading us the story, 'The Rainbow Fish'.  The story is about a fish who is considered beautiful by all the other fish in the ocean because of his shimmering scales.  However, he is a very vain and selfish fish, and so the ocean becomes a lonely place because nobody wants to be his friend.  In the end, he learns that kindness and friendship are more important than beauty.  After the story, we coloured in our own 'Rainbow Fish' using only primary colours and then we made colour wheels.
