are special. The story is about a small, wooden puppet or Wemmick called, Punchinello. He lives in a little village with other Wemmicks and they spend their days putting stickers on each other. The pretty, talented Wemmicks get gold star stickers and those with chipped paint, scratches, or those who don't have any obvious talents get dot stickers. Punchinello always gets dots. He meets another Wemmick just like him called, Lucia and he finds out that she always get the dots too. Lucia told him to go and visit Eli, the puppet maker. Eli tells Punchinello that he doesn't care if he has dots all over him, he loves him just the same and respects him for who he is, flaws and all. Punchinello learns that flaws should not depict who someone is, but it's what's on the inside that really counts and makes you special.
