# Year 4

## Year 4 Good Shepherd Appeal Zumbathon

What's the matter ?

Year 4 have been investigating 'states of matter' this week.

The children had lots of fun with balloons filled with liquids, solids and air.

We then looked at particles and discussed how they move.

Our Collective Worship theme this week has been 'Memories'. We have chosen Gospel readings in which memories and remembrance is important. We,also, read and talked about the words of Jesus during The Last Supper..'Do this in memory' and the children explained the point in the Mass when these words are spoken.  The children, also, brought in a special item which holds a memory for them and gave reasons for this.
