Continuing our Great Fire of London topic, this week we used a variety of techniques to create silhouettes of London burning. First of all, we used sponges and different colours of paint to create a fiery background. Once they were dry, we used black paper to create a skyline for what we think London would have looked like in 1666. The tricky bit was cutting out windows and doors so that we could see the fire through the buildings. Have a look at our pictures below and maybe give it a go yourself at home.
