Group 2 left school at about 2.00 and after their customary comfort stop at Hartshead Moor, arrived safely just after 5.30, just in time for a very hearty tea. After tea we went to our dormitories where we were shown how to make our beds. The staff soon realised that this was not going to be as easy as we thought when we were asked what was the difference between a pillow case and a duvet! Our governors might want to consider introducing compulsory bed making a part of the national curriculum next year!
After finally sorting out our dormitories we ventured to Pateley Bridge village and were delighted when the shopkeeper of the ‘Oldest Sweet Shop in England‘ came out and presented Mr Carney with a huge bag of sweets. We then went to the adventure playground and played football before returning to our dorms just before the rain started.
A busy day ahead tomorrow at the Eden Camp!
