Road Safety Week 24th November

CPO Paul and CPO Jess came to speak to us about Road Safety. They reminded us about how important it is to take care on the roads. Looking both ways and listening as we cross the road will keep us safe. For the older children especially, they reminded us not to text when crossing.

Anti-Bullying Week

November 13th 2017 is the beginning of anti-bullying week. The theme this year is 'All Different-All Equal'. We used the theme to explore how we can celebrate diversity and respect everyone.

Take a look at some of our work, displayed on our Safe Messages Board.

Walk Once a Week Scheme-October 19th 2017

Today Jane Rickwood from the charity Living Streets visited our school. She launched a project which encourages children to try to make an active journey to school at least once a week. There are badges and trophies for individuals and classes who choose to walk/ scoot/ cycle instead of coming in the car. We will be using lots of Maths when we collect the data and look for the class with the best percentage.
