This week we have been exploring maps and learning about the seven continents that make up our world, as well as the five oceans. In addition to that, we have investigated the equator and how countries along it are much hotter than the rest of the world. We learned that the Earth hasn't always looked how it does today - the shape of the land has changed a lot in the last 600 million (learn more in the video below). Once we had a good grasp on where the different continents were today, we researched dinosaurs that were discovered on each one and plotted them on our own maps.
