Building on our work from last week, we made a second game using our knowledge of collision. This again allowed us to make things happen when two objects crash into each other. We used this as part of our algorithms to make objects disappear when a character 'ate' or 'collected' them. To make the programs into games, we used the 'when key' event from previous weeks to teach the computer how to move the player. Some children went a step further and added sound effects which play when the player collides with an object.
