Music

Using songs and percussion instruments to introduce loud and quiet and high and low pitch. Developing listening skills and be able to perform simple rhythms. Investigate the importance of my name; 'If I were a Butterfly'. Song preparation for welcome assembly.

Developing the ability to work within a rhythmic frame, keeping in time with music and noticing changes to either quick or slow. Begin to develop confidence in performance skills through singing in unison and in small groups. Song preparation for Christmas performances.
